Welcome to Alva Swifts Youth Football Club Website.

Alva Swifts were formed in 1995 with one team.  Since then the club has evolved and we now have teams playing at numerous Age Groups, from Under 10 to Under 14.  We see ourselves as a community club and all our teams share a common philosophy that we should play football in the correct way.

We are an ambitious club who continually try to improve our practices and procedures to ensure our players are provided with an excellent platform to develop their skills.

Local pub The No.5 Inn, Alva, was the main sponsors of the recent Freddie Stone Memorial match played on 1st November 2009. The No.5 continues to be a keen and active supporter of Alva Swifts.

Fund Raising Bingo Tea

A big thanks to those who supported the Bingo T held in Parklands on Wednesday 17 March. This was a very successful night raising a lot of money for each of the teams. Special thanks to the two Paulines who were the driving Force behind this. Thanks also to the helpers on the night, Arlene, Fiona, Sharon and Evelyn.

Message Board

NEW  - see new fun weekly competition in the 1998's page.  Each week players will guess the correct results of 5 matches.  2 points awarded for a correct score.  At the end of the season we will add up the points and the player with the most will win a prize.  This is open to ALL Alva Swifts players.  See 1998's page for details.
