Welcome to Alva Swifts Youth Football Club Website.
Alva Swifts were formed in 1995 with one team. Since then the club has evolved and we now have teams playing at numerous Age Groups, from Under 9 to Under 16. We see ourselves as a community club and all our teams share a common philosophy that we should play football in the correct way.
We are an ambitious club who continully try to improve our practices and procedures to ensure our players are provided with an excellent platform to develop their skills.

Club Committee Meeting - 8pm Thursday 3rd December 2009, usual venue.
Sunday saw the annual fundraising penalty competition, and the Coaches V Parents match in memory of Freddy Stone, a past coach with the club.
The turn out was fantastic from both parents and the boys, considering the day turned out to be one of the wettest this year!!! A big thanks to the coaches too, who spent the first half of the day as goalkeepers, before playing in the match. A special thanks to Andy John & Colin who turned up to represent Freddie's family.
The four teams took penalties for an hour in to 4 goals, with a ball each, which made for some hard work for the coaches!!! A huge thanks to all the boys, parents, and coaches who hung in there!!!
